Loans Pense residents arrange online follow Saskatchewan law and land by e-transfer in the village about twenty five kilometres west of Regina on Highway 1, with the potash mine and fertilizer plant at Belle Plaine a few minutes further west. This page covers the rotations, the farm calendar, the highway drive and the $14 per $100 cap.
Terminals on the rail line, Belle Plaine down the road: where Pense sits
Pense is a village about twenty five kilometres west of Regina on Highway 1, with grain terminals on the rail line and the potash mine and fertilizer plant at Belle Plaine a few minutes further west, and an online lender licensed in Saskatchewan serves a Pense address under the same rules it follows in Regina.
The village is bungalows and older houses on a few streets, with acreages and working farms all around it, and the households are mine and plant families, farm families and commuters. The Loans Regina homepage explains the two products, and the areas we serve hub lists the other towns west of the city.
Past the GTH and the airport: applying from Pense
Pense has no transit, so the trip to Regina is a vehicle on Highway 1, about twenty minutes, passing the Global Transportation Hub and the airport on the way in. The application never needs that drive; it is filled in on a phone and funded by Interac e-transfer.
Fill it in at the kitchen table in the village, in the truck before a shift at Belle Plaine or on a break at a warehouse at the Global Transportation Hub. The lender reads your deposits through a read-only bank connection, emails the agreement and sends the transfer once both sides sign, usually the same business day. Loans Pense workers submit after a night shift are read when the lender opens that morning. The e-transfer loans Regina page covers the hours.

Rotations at Belle Plaine and the farm year: when Pense gets paid
Pense pay follows the rotation calendar at the potash mine and fertilizer plant at Belle Plaine, the shift schedules at the Global Transportation Hub warehouses, the biweekly deposits of the Regina commuters, the trucking and grain company payrolls that peak at harvest, and the farm year that runs from seeding in May through spraying in June and July to harvest from August into October.
A Saskatchewan payday loan is repaid in one debit on your next pay date, and a rotation is the trap. A mine or plant worker whose rotation changes mid month may see the deposit land on a different day than last month, so check the schedule before setting the due date. A farm worker in January with thin hours should not borrow against a May cheque; the Regina loan FAQ explains the alternative.
A rotation that moved and a truck on Highway 1: what loans Pense households cover
Loans Pense households take most often cover a repair on the truck that runs Highway 1 to Regina or Belle Plaine, a gap left when a rotation change pushes a deposit past a bill, or a September gap when harvest costs are out and the grain is not yet delivered.
| Who | The usual bill | What tends to fit |
|---|---|---|
| Mine and plant households | A pay date that moved with the rotation | A small payday loan due on the new pay date |
| Bungalows and older houses in the village | A furnace or a water heater in the cold months | Installment for the furnace, payday for a power bill |
| Farm households around the village | September costs before the grain is delivered | An installment loan over a few months |
| Highway 1 commuters and truckers | A windshield, brakes, winter tires | Payday under $1500, installment above it |
A harvest cheque that is weeks out is an installment question, because a payday loan is due on your next pay date and a grain delivery does not land on one. The installment loans Regina page covers $500 to $10000 over 3 to 60 months at 18% to 35% APR, under section 347 of the Criminal Code. The bad credit loans Regina page covers a file with marks from a slow year.

Saskatchewan rules at a Pense address
The payday loans Pense residents sign are made under The Payday Loans Act and The Payday Loans Regulations by a lender licensed by the Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan (FCAA), and the lender sets and discloses the cost, the total and the repayment date before you sign.
The cost is capped at $14 per $100 borrowed and the loan at $1500 and 62 days, and the lender may advance no more than 50% of your net pay for the period. You can cancel at no cost until the end of the next business day after signing, in writing and by returning the money, and you must be 18.
Rollovers and concurrent loans are banned. Saskatchewan has no extended payment plan, so if a rotation leaves the cheque short, call the lender before the due date and ask to split the debit; the FCAA takes complaints. The how it works page lists what to have ready.
Loans Regina is a free loan connection service, not a lender. Closer to the city on the same highway, Grand Coulee sits beside the Global Transportation Hub, and south on Highway 39, Rouleau is the other grain town in this corner of the map.

My rotation at Belle Plaine switches between days and nights and the pay date moves with it. How do I set the due date?
Set it to the deposit date on your next pay statement, not the date you were paid last month. A due date that misses the deposit by two days is the most common reason a payment bounces.
I was just hired at a warehouse at the GTH and have one pay stub. Is that enough?
Usually not for a full loan, sometimes for a small one. Lenders want a pattern of deposits, and one stub shows a start, not a pattern. If the bill can wait two weeks for a second deposit, wait.
Highway 1 west of the city was closed by blowing snow and the plant kept us on site an extra shift. Does the overtime help?
It helps a little, and only after it lands. The lender reads deposits already in the account, so a fat overtime cheque counts once it arrives, not when it is promised. Set the due date to that cheque and borrow against the normal amount.
Does an online lender treat a village address differently from a Regina one?
No. The FCAA licence covers the whole province, so a Pense street, a rural municipality lot or a box number in the village all qualify the same way. The lender reads the income in the account, not the postal code.
